Men Robbed, Duct Taped Brownsville, Brooklyn Family, Police Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Wednesday night for three suspects who robbed and bound with duct tape the residents of a Brooklyn home – including a 13-year-old girl.

Around 8 a.m. Thursday, July 23, the suspect walked into a residential building on Sutter Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn by pushing through the door, police said.

The suspects took out a gun and bound a 34-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman, and a 13-year-old girl with duct tape, police said.

The suspects also punched, licked and pistol-whipped the man before running off with $3,500 as well as jewelry and electronics, police said.

The man was hospitalized following the incident, police said.

Police have released surveillance video of the three suspects.
