Police: Teens Punch 58-Year-Old Woman In Face, Rob Her

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)-- Police are looking for a group of teenagers who they say attacked a woman and robbed her in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.

Three unidentified teenage boys approached the 58-year-old woman around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 16 on Brighton 4th Street, police said. One of the teens then pushed the woman to the ground while another took $40 from her hand, according to the report. When the woman resisted one of the teens' attempts to grab her shopping bag, he punched her in the face and caused bruising and swelling, police said.

The teens fled the scene southbound on Brighton 4th Beach. The woman was taken to Coney Island Hospital and later released.
