Tree Crashes Through Roof In Briarcliff Manor

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A tree came down onto a house and damaged the roof in Briarcliff Manor Tuesday afternoon.

As Jim Smith reported from Chopper 2, the tree came down late in the afternoon in a house on Scarborough Road.

It appeared that the large tree was in the process of being chopped down when it crashed through the roof and into the house.

There were no reports of anyone being injured, Smith reported.
