Breeders' Cup Podcast: Eyes Of Horse Racing World Fixed On Santa Anita

NEW YORK (WFAN) — On Friday and Saturday at Santa Anita Park in Southern California, the sport of thoroughbred racing will be showcased at the 2016 Breeders' Cup World Championships.

Purses totaling $28 million will be up for grabs in 13 world-class races, including the crown jewel of them all, the $6 million Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday evening.

It will be a day for a champion to be crowned and for money to be won.

On the Breeders' Cup Podcast, WFAN's Marc Malusis and Brian Monzo, along with the Daily Racing Form's Kenny Peck, provide insight into the two days of the championship, analyze each race and offer their picks.

The guys are also joined by TVG's Candice Hare, who provides her unique insight into the string of European horses that will be looking for glory on Friday and Saturday.
