Jets' Brandon Marshall Leaves Game With Apparent Knee Injury

Update: Marshall has since returned to the game for the Jets. 

After a rough start in their Week 2 matchup with the Bills, the Jets were rolling down the field and threatening to score when every Jets fans' worst nightmare became reality.

After a catch and long run Brandon Marshall attempted to stiff arm Bills' defender Stephon Gilmore pulled Marshall down from behind by the face mask, forcing the receiver's knee to twist in a nasty direction.

Marshall remained down on the field and was attended to by trainers immediately as fans held their collective breath.

Marshall was shown on the sideline speaking with team doctors and flexing his left knee but headed to the locker room shortly after.

According to a report from CBS' Tracy Wolfson, Marshall attempted to job on the knee but told doctors that he was unable to go.

The Jets eventually scored on the drive to take a 13-7 lead on a Matt Forte one-yard touchdown run.
