Boyfriend Charged In Connection With Queens Woman's Stabbing Death

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that took place in Queens on Saturday.

Authorities responding to a 911 call of a woman stabbed inside of an apartment at 149-45 Northern Boulevard arrived to find a 68-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds about her body.

EMS arrived and pronounced the woman, identified as Josefina Mendoza, dead at the scene.

"Weird. Jeez," neighbor Vanessa Lee told 1010 WINS reporter Derricke Dennis, "I'm shaking. That's weird."

Police have arrested Mendoza's boyfriend, Naser Alsein, 51, and charged him with second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the killing.
