Boy, 9, Struck By Box Truck In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 9-year-old boy was struck and injured by a truck Thursday in East New York, Brooklyn.

The boy was struck around 3:30 p.m. at Linden Boulevard and Crescent Street in Brooklyn, police said.

The child suffered trauma to the leg and body was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The driver of the truck remained on the scene.
