Police said Gordon was first struck by a cab traveling southbound on York Avenue. The impact threw her into oncoming traffic and she was hit by a second cab in the northbound lanes, police said.

Both cabbies remained at the scene.

Gordon was looking forward to graduating from Boston College this spring with a bachelor's degree in finance, marketing and management, 1010 WINS' Mona Rivera reported.

"The Boston College community offers its prayers and condolences to the family and many friends of senior Kelly Gordon," Boston College said in a statement. "Kelly was a popular student in BC's Carroll School of Management... a community volunteer with the student group 4Boston, and a member of the student organization Boston College Women in Business."

The school said counseling services are available to all students, and all campus Masses this weekend will be offered for Gordon and her family.

Gordon was reportedly staying in the city with her sister while she went on job interviews. She may have been jaywalking when the two cabs struck her, Rivera reported.
