Boy, 6, Struck And Critically Injured By Vehicle In Borough Park, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 6-year-old boy was in critical condition late Wednesday after being struck by a car in Borough Park, Brooklyn.
Around 3:15 p.m., 6-year-old boy was struck by a Lexus that was headed southeast on 54th Street between 13th and 14th avenues in Brooklyn, police told CBS2.
The boy had crossed the street in the middle of the block, police said.
The FDNY EMS rushed the child to NYU Lutheran Medical Center, where he was reported in critical condition, officials said. He suffered head trauma in the accident, police said.
The driver remained on the scene, police said. The investigation continued late Wednesday afternoon.
