CC Sabathia wasn't terrible last night in Anaheim, but he wasn't great either, therefore the Yankees came up on the wrong end of a 4-1 final in what turned out to be the Mike Trout Show, as the Angels' all-world center fielder was on full display.

Despite the loss the Yanks are still hanging around in the AL East, currently a half-game behind both the Orioles and Rays.  Boomer and Craig got things underway Tuesday morning discussing the baseball scene, which these days features two relevant locals -- the Mets get back after it tonight at Citi Field when they welcome the Cubs to town.  The guys are in agreement that the (non-waiver) trade deadline, which is about a month away (July 31), will go a long way in determining who will still be standing when October baseball begins.

The NBA free agency period begins Wednesday at 12:01 a.m., and the Knicks figure to be pretty active.  With that said, Boomer and Craig discussed the latest rumors circulating.  The Blonde Bomber would like to see Phil Jackson bring in the likes of Danny Green and Paul Milsap, although early indications have a duo of Greg Monroe and Aaron Afflalo relocating to New York.

Tuesday is upon us; move forward with that knowledge...
