David Wright made his highly anticipated return to the Mets lineup Monday night in Philadelphia -- and it was a good one.

After setting the tone with a long home run in his first at-bat, his teammates followed suit and together they set a club record with a total of eight homers in a 16-7 come-from-behind win.  Jacob deGrom made the start and didn't make it out of the second inning (these things happen) and the Dynamic Radio Duo of Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton wasn't about to let that affect the good vibrations pulsating through the Allstate Studio.

Couple the Mets' offensive explosion with the Yankees' 1-0 win over the Astros and you get a pretty good idea of what the guys were talking about Tuesday morning.

We also heard about Geno Smith's return to Jets camp, Boomer's cheap-shot story and his perfect fingernails.
