Thursday's action-packed Morning Show open had a little bit of everything, and the Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer and Craig really seemed to enjoy themselves.

We heard about the Mets, who, behind Noah Syndergaard and 19 hits, provided their fans (Boomer being one of them) with something to smile about on Wednesday night.

As for Craig's Yankees, their woes continued during the afternoon in Colorado and they now find themselves all alone in last place of the AL East.

In other baseball news, Marlins outfielder Ichiro Suzuki belted his 4,257th career hit, with "career" being the operative word. The future Hall of Famer played the first nine years of his career in Japan, during which he collected 1,278 of those knocks. So, calling him "the hit king," which some have done, is not something Boomer and Craig are about to do.

They said they will continue to reserve that moniker for Pete Rose.

Have a listen.
