NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Verne Lundquist's broadcasting career speaks for itself, no pun intended.

So when Boomer & Carton Show producer extraordinaire Al Dukes learned that the play-by-play legend was going to be in town, he booked Verne to join the guys in the Allstate Studio on March 27, 2014.

In addition to recalling some of the great moments of his career, Mr. Lundquist eventually summed things up by uttering the six words that went down in Morning Extravaganza history.
