Boomer & Carton: Utley Takes Out Tejada And The Giants Come Back To Beat The 49ers

Chase Utley took out Ruben Tejada Saturday night while breaking up a double play in the seventh inning, breaking the Mets' shortstop's leg in the process. This quickly made Utley a villain to many.  The Mets went on to lose Game 2, and Utley has since been suspended for Games 3 and 4. He is appealing the suspension.

Boomer & Craig got things started Monday morning by discussing the numerous storylines coming out of the Mets-Dodgers NLDS.  With the series now tied at one game each and headed to Citi Field, the Amazins' will turn to Matt Harvey.  So will "The Dark Knight" retaliate?

In addition to the baseball playoffs, NFL Week 5 provided the Dynamic Radio Duo with plenty to talk about. The Giants came from behind to beat the 49ers 30-27 and are now in sole possession of first place in the NFC East.
