It was a weekend full of winning for the baseball locals, as both the Mets and the Yankees got it done in their respective series.
Noah Syndergaard pitched the Amazins' to a 3-1 win over the visiting Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, completing a three-game sweep.
A little later, the Yankees finished off a four-game sweep of the Athletics out in Oakland with a 5-4 victory. The Bombers have now won five straight overall and have moved within a game of .500 (21-22) following a dreadful 9-17 start.

So between all of the baseball goodness and the Thunder's blowout of the Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA's Western Conference finals, Boomer and Carton had their hands full to start the work week.
