The Rangers entered Monday night's Game 2 with a chance to take a commanding lead over the Lightning before the series shifts to Tampa Bay, but things didn't exactly work out in that manner.

Instead, Boomer's beloved Blueshirts took one on the chin, falling 6-2. They now head to Tampa with the series tied at a game apiece.

So this action-packed edition of the Morning Extravaganza got started in a manner similar to that of a therapy session for the Blonde Bomber -- or any crazy Rangers fan, for that matter. His radio partner/BFF, Craigie, slid comfortably into the role of
"therapist."

In addition to Boomer's emotions being discussed, the Mets were in action last night and Matt Harvey was on the mound. It took 14 innings and Harvey didn't factor into the decision, but the first-place Mets earned themselves a 2-1 win over the Cardinals.  Boomer & Craig discussed the win, as well as the idea of sending Noah Syndergaard down to make room for Dillon Gee, which has been discussed.
