Now for a little something from the world of "you can't make this up."
Word is that the officials assigned to last Saturday's Chiefs-Patriots playoff game showed up at Gillette Stadium sans a bag of footballs ("K-Balls" used for kicking) and the air gauges used to measure the air pressure in the game balls, which were apparently left behind at the hotel and required a police escort to arrive at the stadium on time.
Boomer & Carton tried to make sense of this story, just over a year removed from the beginning of the nauseating "Deflategate" saga.
