Boomer Esiason played quarterback in the NFL for 14 seasons, winning an MVP and making a Super Bowl appearance in the process. So when Sports Illustrated was putting together a book titled, "NFL QB: The Greatest Position In Sports," they reached out to the Blonde Bomber and asked him to write the foreword (but apparently had no intentions of including a picture of the photogenic Esiason on the front or back cover).

I wouldn't be writing this had Boomer not agreed.
