Boomer and Craig opened things up this Monday morning on a somber note, discussing the events that took place in Upstate New York on Saturday night, when Tony Stewart struck and killed fellow driver Kevin Ward Jr. in a tragic and bizarre situation.

Additionally, 25-year-old Rory McIlroy caps off an amazing finish at the PGA Championship with his fourth major victory and it's sure beginning to feel like a new era in golf is upon us.

The Yankees dropped two of three to the Indians and now face an all-important three-game set with 'big, bad' Buck Showalter and the Orioles in Baltimore.  According to Craigie, a poor showing by the Bombers could mean the end of any hopes to capture the AL East crown.

The Mets are not likely going to be competing for a division title anytime soon, but according to Craig they have not embarrassed themselves yet, which I suppose is a good thing.

All of that and both the Giants and Jets were in action, albeit preseason action...
