Boomer & Carton: Richard Lewis Stops By For Some Laughs

Richard Lewis wrote a book ("Reflections from Hell") and will be performing at Carolines on Broadway on May 29 and May 30. So to promote those things, he woke up early and paid his old buddies Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton a visit.

Upon entering the Allstate Studio, Mr. Lewis needed no time to warm up. He came out firing on all cylinders, calling out the WFAN salesman who escorted him up for being a "salesman," I suppose.

We heard about his experience with "Mike and the Mad Dog" back when he was still drinking, the career advice he received from David Letterman back in 1978, how he no longer goes to therapy and what it's like to have dinner with the great Larry David...
