With the Jets preparing to welcome the Bills to MetLife Stadium Thursday night, Rex Ryan decided to make some waves.

Rex, of course, has both a history with the Jets and a history of making waves, so when the Bills' head coach named former Jet IK Enemkpali a team captain for Thursday night's game, it really shouldn't have come as much of a shock.

Craig, for one, was not surprised at all. In fact, he got things started Tuesday morning by calling out old Rexy for recycling a tired act.

Boomer was not caught off guard either, but the matter was discussed before the conversation shifted towards Daniel Murphy and his uncertain future.  Brian Cashman indicated thar the Yankees are not interested in the slugging second baseman's services, which Craig takes as a sign that the focus for the Bombers will be on pitching, which is fine by him.

Rounding out this action-packed show open, we heard about Mike Piazza's Hall of Fame eligibility, and Kobe Bryant apparently talked about shapes with Spike Lee -- specifically the triangle and the square.
