Boomer & Carton: Peterson Scandal Gets Even Uglier

Another day, another edition of the Morning Extravaganza that began with a conversation on the ugly side of the NFL, or I guess you could say the ugly side of society.

After last week was dominated by talk of Ray Rice's February incident with his then-fiancee in a now-defunct Atlantic City casino, this week is shaping up to be littered with plenty of talk of child abuse, as Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was reinstated by the team Monday, despite an indictment by a Texas grand jury for "reckless or negligent injury" to his 4-year-old son.

Boomer and Craig addressed the unfortunate story as more details continue to emerge and even managed to shift gears for a few moments to converse briefly on Tom Coughlin's spirited Monday press conference, which could be described as desperate, entertaining and awesome.

But the Coughlin conversation was short-lived, as Jermaine called-in and tried his best to make this is a 'black and white' issue, referencing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
