Ohio State took care of business Monday night against Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota and the Oregon Ducks to the tune of 42-20. The Buckeyes became the first team to win the national title in the inaugural College Football Playoff.

Boomer & Craig were off and running Tuesday morning, perhaps taking a cue from Buckeyes sophomore running back Ezekiel Elliott, who ran all over the Ducks for 246 and four TDs. Have a game young man, good golly.  Obviously a lot of praise was hurled Ohio State's way, and the new playoff system was lauded. But the conversation eventually shifted towards the sport of hockey. Boomer saw to that.

The Blonde Bomber is beside himself with excitement as his beloved Blueshirts prepare to welcome the first-place Islanders to the Garden.  Craig even showed a faint interest in tonight's affair.

Speaking of Boomer's radio partner and BFF, Craigie shared his "answer" on how to fix the Jets in the short-term. It's as simple as luring Peyton Manning to Florham Park and making the future Hall of Famer their quarterback.
