Boomer & Carton: Mets Win (Again), Islanders Take Game 1

As has been the case as of late, Boomer and Carton started their wildly popular radio program Thursday morning by discussing a win by their beloved Mets.

Technically, the Islanders were the first subject talked about at length, but Craig didn't bother to participate in that portion of the show -- and for good reason.

Anyway, on Wednesday night at Citi Field, with Matt Harvey on the hill, the Mets finished off a sweep of the Reds with a 5-2 win, improving to 13-7 in the process.

In addition, we heard about Al Dukes' morning routine, which consists primarily of eating oatmeal and complaining.

Finally, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach (Hellooooo!!!!) threw out the first pitch Tuesday night in Flushing.
