Craig got things started Friday morning by suggesting ya'll start drinkin', which was pretty sound advice if you happen to be a fan of the Knicks.

Kidding aside, if you listen to the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza -- and I know you do -- you shouldn't be surprised by the news that Carmelo Anthony will muster up enough courage to play in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game because that is what the fans want, but then will likely shut it down for the remainder of the season and start trying to get healthy for next year.

Considering Boomer has had it with all the Melo talk, and the Rangers won again Thursday night, the Blonde Bomber was determined to talk about hockey -- and he was not going to be denied.

Between the Blueshirts and the first place Islanders, Booms is encouraging anyone who will listen to invest in the sport of hockey.  Do with that information what you wish and remember all of the other reasons you love this thing we call the Morning Extravaganza...
