After spending the majority of the weekend licking his wounds caused by the abrupt end to the Rangers' season, Boomer took his seat alongside his Islanders jersey-wearing radio partner/BFF on Monday morning prepared to discuss the latest developments in the world of New York sports.

The Rangers, of course, made the cut, as did the Islanders, who actually advanced to the second round thanks to a double-OT winner, courtesy of John Tavares.

We also heard about the Redskins inking Josh Norman to a deal, how the Jets tried to trade up to No. 1 in the draft, and Steph Curry's latest injury. As for the diamond, the guys discussed the Mets' solid road trip and how the Yankees won the series, but may be without A-Rod a while.
