The maturation of one Kristaps Porzingis continues to unfold right before our very eyes.

The Knicks' rookie delighted the Madison Square Garden crowd Tuesday night at the expense of the Charlotte Hornets and it sure was fun to watch.

When the final horn sounded the scoreboard indicated a 102-94 Knicks victory and New York was abuzz about the budding star.

Boomer & Carton got the ball rolling Wednesday morning discussing not only Porzingis, but also the overall transformation of a team that manged to win just 17 games last season. With Tuesday night's win, the Knicks improved to 6-6 and that is certainly something to talk about.

Additionally, after watching them handle the Bengals on Monday night in Cincinnati, the Texans have the attention of Boomer, who warned his buddy Brandon Marshall, who he saw while filming the latest edition of Showtime's "Inside the NFL" on Tuesday afternoon, that the Jets better not take Houston lightly.

Gang Green will travel to Houston on Sunday and may or may not have Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback and that uncertainty has Craig very worried.
