Boomer & Carton: John Salley Predicts Big Things For Melo And The Knicks

John Salley made the most of his 12 NBA seasons, capturing four championships and having plenty of fun along the way.

Since retiring from the game, the Brooklyn native has carved out a nice niche for himself in the entertainment world and he joined Boomer and Craig this morning in the Allstate Studios to promote something he is doing and have a few laughs.

Salley got things started by expressing his relief that Boomer is still a part of the NFL Today on CBS, after an offseason purge of sorts.

After that, the guys talked about prostate exams. The subject of basketball was eventually brought up, specifically the Knicks, who according to Salley will be in the NBA Finals next year thanks to the addition of Phil Jackson to the front office.

Salley played for Jackson in Los Angeles and won a championship, so his take certainly carries some weight. As far as the Knicks' future with regards to Carmelo Anthony, Salley said that Melo has no where else to go, so he'll be back...
