Subscribe to the Boomer & Carton Podcast »

Brandon Marshall has made quite a name for himself during his first year in New York, so while doing his thing out in San Francisco the Jets' wide receiver joined his good buddies Boomer & Carton on Tuesday for a provocative chat.

Marshall talked candidly while reflecting on this past season with the Jets, describing it as "the toughest year he's had." He explained what he likes about Geno Smith, while at the same time making it clear that Ryan Fitzpatrick is his guy.

Cam Newton's name came up, of course, which prompted Brandon to share his thoughts on the new generation of players and their penchant for celebrating.

Retirement, the Hall of Fame and mental health were also discussed in this very well-rounded segment.
