As good as Sunday was for the victorious Jets, it was that bad for the New York Football Giants.

The Jets were led by their tougher-than-nails quarterback and throttled the Dolphins 38-20. The aforementioned Ryan Fitzpatrick threw four touchdowns as Gang Green improved to 6-5 and greatly helped its postseason chances.

As for the Giants, they were primed to take control of the underwhelming NFC East, but they instead lost to Kirk Cousins and the Redskins down in Washington, 20-14, to fall to 5-6.

So, Boomer & Carton kicked off the Morning Extravaganza with the football locals, who will meet this Sunday at MetLife Stadium in a game that will have an awful lot riding on it.
