Boomer & Carton: Jets Lose Yet Again, Eli And Giants Ready To Roll

Partly because the Giants don't play until tonight and partly because people love a disaster, either way it was those 1-8 New York Jets that had Boomer and Craig talkin' this morning, as Rex's gang took one on the chin in Kansas City, falling 24-10 and providing plenty of talking points in the process.
One 'silver lining' for Gang Green was the performance of Percy Harvin, who looked pretty darn good in defeat. Off the field, word is there is a billboard being erected to advocate for the dismissal GM John Idzik. Oh boy.
With all that said, part of Boomer thinks that the Jets could somehow find a way to beat Big Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers next week for no other reason than because that is how the NFL seems to work these days.
As for the Jets' NFC counterpart, the Giants will host the Colts tonight at MetLife 'in a game that actually means something' and the Booms cites the fact that Eli is still standing upright as a pretty good reason that the Giants could win the East.
