After Craig got to the bottom of who Joe Giglio is and why he is checking his Gmail account on the studio computer, Jerry Recco was introduced, which was a clear indication that is was update time.

Jerry got started with the Mets, which inevitably led to an attempt by Boomer and Craig to translate Terry Collins, always an entertaining exercise.  The Mets won by the way, topping the Diamondbacks 7-3 out in the desert, but did lose Curtis Granderson and Juan Lagares to injuries.

Plus, the Yanks got good news on Brian McCann after X-rays on his right hand were negative, but the Bombers will be without Francisco Cervelli for some time as he will be out with an ailing hamstring, tonight (weather permitting) will be a Tanaka Tuesday in the Bronx, as Masahiro Tanaka is slated to pitch against the Cubs, elsewhere the Phillies lost a seesaw battle to the Braves.  As for the Knicks, they have been officially eliminated from the playoffs, word is Phil Jackson is close to signing Lamar Odom and Amar'e Stoudemire is eying Israel as a place to bring his basketball talents.  The Rangers open up their NHL playoff run Thursday night against the Flyers and the Giants are looking for an Eli Manning backup...
