Jerry Recco's first update of the morning started with the Yankees, after their 4-2 triumph over the Royals put a bow on a three-game sweep.  Alex Rodriguez played the role of offensive star, and because of that found himself engrossed in a postgame chat with Craig's foil, Suzyn Waldman.  After hearing the exchange, Craigie did some "foiling," if you will.

Plus, we learned that Royals pitcher Chris Young attended Princeton, Noah Syndergaard went deep and earned the win in a 7-0 Mets victory and Jets head coach Todd Bowles makes it clear that -- despite what you may have heard from offensive coordinator Chan Gailey -- Geno Smith is not penciled in as the Jets' starting QB.

Steph Curry and the Warriors advance to the NBA Finals after winning Game 5 over the Rockets and the Blackhawks downed the Ducks 5-2, forcing a Game 7 of their own...
