First Craig provided a quick update with regards to the upcoming 'True Blue Charity Softball Game,' which will take place at Yankee Stadium on June 3 and benefit the families of the NYPD (Jets headcoach Todd Bowles and GM Mike Maccagnan are both in). Then Jerry Recco started his update in a manner that was sure to keep Boomer smiling because it detailed the Rangers' Game 7 triumph over the Capitals, a 2-1 overtime affair and featured a plethora of Al Dukes' Rangers parody song magic.  The Rangers will now face the Lightning in the conference finals, which will get underway this Saturday.

Plus, the Mets get a good start from Matt Harvey but lose to the Cubs 2-1, the Yankees lose to the Rays 3-2, Al Horford saw to it that the Hawks beat the Wizards and Steph Curry and the Warriors made easy work of the Grizzlies -- with the wins, both teams took a 3-2 series advantage in their respective series.
