Jerry Recco's update started with the latest from the NFL Draft, as we heard Tom Coughlin talk glowingly about the Giants' selection with 12th pick, LSU wide-receiver Odell Beckham Jr.,  and his big hands.  Coughlin went on to describe him as a gobbler with good stamina.

As for Big Blue's AFC counterpart, the Jets had the 18th pick and used it to draft Calvin Pryor, a safety out of Louisville, choosing  to pass on Johnny 'Football' Manziel, who went to the Browns at 22.

Plus, Deron Williams is held scoreless as the Nets fall behind the Heat 2-0 with a 94-82 loss, Spurs downed the Blazers 114-97 to take a commanding 2-0 series lead, Rangers will skate tonight in Pittsburgh, it's gonna be a 'Tanaka Friday' for the Yankees tonight in Milwaukee, Mets will host the Phillies and Craig ruffles a few feathers by stating that neither Paul O'Neill nor Tino Martinez are worthy of having a plaque in their honor at Monument Park - so there's that...
