Boomer & Carton: Jerry's 'Championship' Update

Super Bowl XLVIII is now set. The Denver Broncos will take on the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium.

Jerry recaps championship Sunday starting with the Seahawks-49ers game. The game started off terribly for the Seahawks as Russell Wilson lost a fumble which the 49ers recovered. The Niners took an early lead but the Seattle made a big fourth-quarter comeback. The Seattle defense did what they do best and forced turnovers, the biggest coming with 22 seconds left in the game as Richard Sherman tipped a ball going to Michael Crabtree which was intercepted by Malcolm Smith. Seahawks win 23-17.

The Broncos-Patriots game was much less nail-biting as Peyton Manning gave his team a 17-point lead going into the fourth quarter. Tom Brady was able to get into the end zone twice in the fourth, but it was too late as the Broncos took the victory 26-16.
