For Jerry's opening update, he began with the suddenly streaking Mets completing their sweep of the Marlins in Miami.

Despite being closer than most people thought after the fish put up six runs in the ninth, the Mets still got the victory. Everyone was happy in the clubhouse afterwards.

The feeling wasn't the same in the Bronx, as the Red Sox defeated the Yankees 2-1. Although, it could be said that this was a cloud with a silver lining. Yankees top prospect Luis Severino pitched well in his debut, much to the delight of his manager and teammates.
