Jerry Recco was at it once again Thursday morning, updating the masses as only he can.

The first thing he did was reveal the news that the Giants are getting set to promote their offensive coordinator, Ben McAdoo, to head coach, replacing Tom Coughlin. Joe Philbin will reportedly be brought in to take over the offensive coordinator duties.

In addition, Jerry spoke of how Peyton Manning took a shot at Al Jazeera, and how former NFL running back Lawrence Phillips has died at the age of 40 (which is too young to die for Jerry).

On the hardwood, the Nets downed the Knicks in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, while the NBA-best Warriors fell to the Nuggets in Denver. On the diamond, the Marlins gave Dee Brown $50 million for five years and Craig continued to grow frustrated with the Mets' offseason.
