After a night like we had last night in the world of sports, Jerry Recco carries a great burden, saddled with the responsibility of getting us all up to speed with what exactly went down, a task Jerry is more than up for.
He began with the Nets, who lost in Toronto, knotting their first-round matchup with the Raptors at one game apiece. The Wizards went up 2-0 on the Bulls with a 101-99 OT win and the Pacers responded to their Game 1 loss with a convincing 101-85 win over the Hawks.
The Yankees earned a 9-3 win at Boston, the names John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman came up and Curtis Granderson's slump continued as the Mets fell to the Cards 3-0. Granderson is now 0-for-his-last-22 and is batting just .116 on the season.
Boomer imagines how good the 10-10 Mets might be if Granderson were hitting. Matt Harvey shut down his Twitter account, and finally, the Rangers took care of business in Philadelphia by beating the Flyers 4-1. The Blueshirts lead the series 2-1.
