After Craig scolded his radio partner for jumping the gun a bit with regards to Geno Smith's performance at Jets minicamp, Jerry Recco (wrinkled shirt and all) got into the fray and delivered his informative and entertaining update. He began with a piece of baseball history, which unfortunately for Mets fans came at the expense of their baseball team.

The Mets lost 5-0 and Giants right-hander Chris Heston hurled a no-hitter, becoming the 22nd rookie to do so.  Even with the loss, the Mets still find themselves atop the NL East, holding an ever-so-small half-game lead over the Nats. Washington was in the Bronx last night for a "Tanaka Tuesday," and was dealt a 6-1 loss.

Plus, Craig tells us more than we ever thought we needed to know about the Major Deegan Expressway, a Mets fan named Mike admits to being a "pathetic loser" and LeBron James and Matthew Dellavedova lead the Cavs to a 96-91 Game 3 win over Steph Curry and the Warriors. J.R. Smith describes his time in Cleveland as "crazy," and despite a contract dispute Mo Wilkerson shows up at minicamp.
