Jerry Recco's first update of the morning was a good one. After beginning with the latest hoopla surrounding the Alex Rodriguez media frenzy, it was on to those red-hot New York Knicks after their 98-96 overtime over the Suns last night at the Garden.
Don't look now, but Carmelo Anthony and the Knickerbockers have won five straight, six of their last seven overall. They will look to keep things going tonight in Charlotte against the Bobcats, which was news to Melo.
Plus, some rumors circulating that have Jeremy Lin making a return to the Tri-State area - this time in the borough of Brooklyn -- and a little preview of the upcoming AFC and NFC Championship games to wet our collective whistles...
