Boomer & Carton: Jerry Has A Meltdown

As the clever title indicates, Jerry Recco's first update of the morning did not go off without a hitch, as the update maven screwed up his report on the Yankees' 4-2 loss to the Rangers and was subsequently taken to task.
Now this is far from out of the ordinary, but as you'll hear, Jerry cites a simple slip of the tongue -- an excuse Boomer and Craig weren't much interested in hearing. Whatever the cause, it led to Jerry having a meltdown in the Allstate Studio, all the while claiming he was actually having a great day.
Jerry did manage to collect himself long enough to tend to his update duties, because he is a professional, after all...
