Jerry's update started with a winner, that would be the Mets, who continued their dominance over the Phillies with a 9-4 win in the "City of Brotherly Love."  The win catapulted the Mets past the Yankees for the best record among the locals and according to Terry Collins, winning is contagious.  Michael Cuddyer went deep, which inspired Al "Hughes" Dukes to pay tribute the only way he knows how, by parodying songs.

Earlier in the day, the Yankees were in action and after losing to the Astros 15-1 on Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon produced a 6-2 setback.  The loss puts the Yanks a full two games behind the Blue Jays in the AL East.
