Thursday morning was chock full of goodness, thanks in part to an entertaining Wednesday night of sports and also because of the Dynamic Radio Duo known simply as Boomer & Carton.

The guys got things rolling early on with some reflection and commentary on the Mets' second straight loss, a 7-3 setback to Giancarlo Stanton and the Miami Marlins. Terry Collins' decision-making was called into question as Boomer did some 'Monday morning quarterbacking,' calling for his beloved baseball team to try and manufacture a run or two.

The Yankees also came up short in the Bronx, falling 3-2 to the Rays in an extra-inning affair that saw Alex Rodriguez finish 0-for-6 with four strikeouts, leaving the slugger still one shy of Willie Mays' career home run total of 660.

On the hardwood, Craig's prognostication skills came to fruition in Atlanta after the Hawks beat the Nets 107-97, thus covering the nine point-spread, just as the 'Craig-i-nator' predicted they would.

We also had some concern among staffers with regards to this weekend's trip to Las Vegas for the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight, a little NFL draft talk as both the Jets and Giants are on the clock, and of course, Boomer was sure to provide a preview of the Rangers' second round series with the Capitals, which gets underway tonight at the Garden.
