With the Jets' quarterback situation currently in flux, this Wednesday edition of the Morning Extravaganza began with Craig advocating for rookie signal-caller Bryce Petty to get a shot Sunday against Jacksonville.

To be clear, Craig's desire to see Petty stemmed more from his dislike for Geno Smith as a quarterback, than from any confidence he might have in the Baylor product.

As for Boomer, he did not share his radio partner's thoughts on Smith's ability to play the position, but he wouldn't mind seeing Petty given the opportunity to show what he's got.

In other news, the Mets reward Terry Collins with a two-year contract extension and Craig is still holding on to the notion that LeBron James will someday be a Knick.
