Boomer & Craig got this Wednesday morning All-Star party started by talking about the fact that this will be Derek Jeter's final Midsummer Classic, as the Yankees' captain is set to retire after the season concludes.

While speculating how it all might go down, the guys wondered if Jeets might shed a tear.

In addition to discussing Jeter's final go-round tonight in Minnesota, the hot topic of "Who ya' got, Yanks or Mets?" was broached, as the guys contemplated what may lie ahead for the two baseball locals in the second half. Boomer is very confident that the Mets (45-50) will claw their way to the .500 mark at some point this season -- so confident, in fact, that he made a wager with his trusty radio partner.  Craig, on the other hand, just pines for the day that the Mets don't beat their fans down with false hope.
