As you can probably imagine, Boomer was beside himself with excitement this morning while kicking off Wednesday's edition of the Morning Extravaganza after the Rangers gutted out a 2-1 Game 7 victory over Sidney Crosby and the Penguins in Pittsburgh.

After offering a brief good morning to everybody, Craig turned it over to the Blonde Bomber, who used the words hectic, chaotic and intense to describe the Game 7 affair, before going on the gush about goaltender extraordinaire Henrik Lundvist, who provided an inspirational performance for the ages.

Craig did try to introduce the Subway Series into the mix, as the Mets beat the Yanks yet again, but that conversation was quickly thwarted as the sleep deprived Booms wasn't much interested in veering off topic.
