Jerry Recco joined the guys to give his first update of the morning. After taking a moment to remember the late Frank Gifford, the conversation shifted to baseball.

While the results on the field weren't what baseball fans wanted to see, the guys discussed how the Mets were treated to something they have been waiting for all season: exciting baseball. Things are looking up for the Mets, as they're involved in a tight division race late in the season and have veterans Michael Cuddyer and David Wright coming back from injuries.
