Knicks head coach Derek Fisher was reportedly involved in a dispute with former teammate Matt Barnes over the weekend in California, and then apparently told the organization he was away from the team for personal reasons.

The dust-up reportedly stemmed over Fisher's relationship with Barnes' estranged wife Gloria Govan -- a relationship that it's safe to say, Barnes did not approve of.

So Boomer and Craig were inclined to open Thursday's radio program by discussing more drama, as one can't help but wonder if Fisher is the right man to lead the Knicks moving forward.

On a lighter note, Boomer has decided to go against conventional wisdom -- that's his own "conventional wisdom" with regards to the freezing opponents jerseys during playoff time. So the Blonde Bomber will be putting the jersey of Dodgers starter extraordinaire Clayton Kershaw's in his icebox later Thursday, with the hope that it somehow helps his beloved Mets move on in the NLDS.
