Dellin Betances made his MLB debut with the Yankees back in 2011, making just a couple of September appearances. But he really burst onto the scene in 2014, making the All-Star team along with fellow rookie Masahiro Tanaka (and Derek Jeter, of course) and breaking Mariano Rivera's team record for strikeouts by a reliever.

Well on Wednesday, the 6-foot-8 Washington Heights native joined Boomer & Craig in the Allstate Studio for a little chat. He talked with the guys about not actually getting to pitch in the All-Star Game and what it was like to play with Jeter. He also shared his thoughts on the idea of becoming a closer.
